Join us as a Transfer Pricing Senior Analyst

  • Joining us in NatWest Markets (NWM) as part of the Financial Control team, we'll look to you to work with the NWM businesses in reviewing transfer pricing
  • You’ll be working with colleagues across NWM and with a variety of teams within the ring-fence bank to review and agree charging across the ring-fence and within NWM

What you'll do

You’ll be joining a team responsible for all the centralised financial control activities for NWM. This will include controlling the cost balance sheet, legal entity reporting, cost and revenue transfer pricing and entity rationalisation. You’ll also be producing financial information, making sure that controls and reviews are in place to provide assurance that the NWM ledger and accounts are valid, accurate and complete to support timely and accurate financial reporting.

In addition to supporting the team deliver its broader objectives, your specific responsibilities will include: 

  • Working with the NWM London Financial Control team to produce and develop reporting and analysis to assist stakeholders with understanding and validating their costs
  • Reviewing charging into NWM across the ring-fence, developing analysis and reporting to provide a comprehensive understanding of all costs and revenues
  • Reviewing and analysing transfer pricing charges received by NWM globally, providing commentary and analysis to the businesses
  • Working in conjunction with the RBS Allocations team to provide NWM with an understanding of how charging into NWM is generated
  • Operating and maintaining controls for transfer pricing and other cross ring-fence charging
  • Building strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need a CIMA, ACCA or CFA qualification or you’ll be qualified by equivalent experience with a strong record of application within a business environment. Along with this, you’ll need experience of working in a finance environment, preferably within a legal entity financial accounting team.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • An understanding of legal entity transfer pricing
  • The ability to manage large volumes of financial and non-financial information and to prioritise activities based on the information gathered
  • Good problem solving skills which have been applied to a diverse range of business issues
  • A strong investigative mindset and the ability to seek information under your own initiative
